My Approach

If you’re here, you’re probably celebrating something big, an engagement, a graduation, a season of life that deserves to be remembered. That alone is reason enough to document it.

I grew up in Humboldt County and have spent the majority of my life in parts of Northern California. I am a huge fan of the outdoors, which contributes to my love of light, open space, and the kind of moments that feel natural and unposed. Photography started for me early on and eventually led me to earn a degree in Media Arts from Chico State, but weddings are where it all came together. There’s something about the mix of emotion, movement, nerves, and excitement that I genuinely love.

When it comes to style, I don’t try to fit into one label. Some parts of a wedding day feel editorial. Some feel cinematic. The details can lean luxury, while the candid moments are completely documentary. I photograph what’s happening as it unfolds and focus on what you’re most excited about.

My editing stays true to color, timeless, honest, and not overly trendy.

More than anything, I care about making the experience feel easy. Your wedding isn’t a production. It’s personal and real and uniquely yours. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment speaks for itself, and make sure your photos reflect how it actually felt to be there.

If that sounds like your kind of approach, I’d love to be part of it.
